Htx-100 manual

I have an HTX that needs some repair and I need some guidance I was forced to take down my station years ago - - this radio has been in storage in my house since then with no temperature extremes. I am the original owner and it was working when I put it into its box. I am now setting everything back up. When I apply power, the display light lights but there is no information There is audio, but there is no static sound when I connect the antenna.

My first thought is: bad capacitor. I pulled off the cover and looked at both sides of the main boards with a flashlight and magnifier I do not have a full schematic or a shop manual, so I don't know where to turn next.

I watched Buddy's repair YouTube where he brought back to life an HTX and checked what he did in that radio, but I do not think I have that problem First welcome to the site. The schematic should be helpful in finding your way around but if it's that much different then perhaps someone put a different board into the chassis. Check the part number against the one Radio Shack shows should be in there. Check revision numbers and compare them. Hope this helps 73 Gary. KO6WB , Aug 24, Gary, Thanks for your suggestions.

Regarding "non-working" -- Screen displays frequency, mode, etc. It receives okay. No transmit. My first suspect part was the final transistor. No joy. Now replacing the old electrolytics. Most of the components on the board match well with the service manual -- but there are several that don't show up on it - both transistors and caps.

So far, I have only been able to locate one version of the Service Manual. I've downloaded everyone I can find on the internet and none of them show the exact pcb in this particular HTX Hi Bill, the service manual has a block diagram where the flow of the signals are shown.
